This 948cc twin carb coupe, 4323 HJ, commission number Y17628 was manufactured in September 1960 but for some reason not registered until April 1962 with one owner until he died in 2003; it was always serviced by the same garage who were left it in his will, and with typical modern-day gratitude they sold it on through a local dealership. I purchased it by phone, loads of queries and photos and they even sent me a scan of the V5. The original owner was a teacher who drove it all his life until he died in his early eighties and never went far from Southend-on-Sea.
