I took delivery of mine on 2nd Sept 1959. Delivered by Clarkes Garage in Narborough (Rogers fathers business) for £702.00. The intention was that they would become dealers, they ended with a Renault dealership due to Herald problems

My car was first reg BUT 111, it was suppost to have been the 4th to Browetts in Leicester who were the distributors.

The car was a disaster, unreliable, water leaked in and it fell apart!! The factory had it twice and lent me a Penant for a while I sold it in April 1961 with 32058 miles on the clock. 32.05 to the gallon. I then bought a 1200 followed by 2 off 1250s all new.
