Info: I bought a 948 coupe in march 1966 for £250 from AUTOWAYS IN SHEFFIELD and part-x a ford 100E that I got £25 00 for I had to take out fully comp insurance for the coupe as it was on HP. The reg no was PVH 32 . THEN the fun started I knocked around with a set of lads who were all rally fans and between us we had a collection of minis, ford pops Austin A35 a Rover 90 and other odds and sods when Ii got the coupe I HAD the best car and I used to drive it hard the engine never gave me any problem nor the gear box but the diff was the weak point I snapped lots of inner half shafts and once spit the diff casing wide open. I had the car untill 1968 when I got married. I have many happy memories of those happy days.
