Info: YOY 98 was a saloon on a coupe chassis in 'targo purple'.
Bought new from Croydon dealer called ? in Whitehorse lane? May 60.
I fitted 'Dunlop Durabands' one of the first radial tyres which transformed the cornering and Lucas P70 headlights which were a great improvement. This car ran from Croydon to Aberystwyth most Friday evenings in the summer and could do the journey in about 6 hrs providing you remembered to fill up at Oxford as this was the last place for fuel in those days! Returned approx 28 mpg but never did better than 200 miles per pint on oil.
Sold back to dealer in about April 62 with 42,xxx on the clock.
Never saw it ever again.

YOY 99 was blue and white saloon, lady owner and
YOY 100 was the dealers personal car.
