 Tag on car reads: THC1739. This car was assembled in South Africa part of the consigment SHC51 (ie the 51st batch of twelve cars to be sent/built). This car was the 617th coupé to be built in South Africa. Later (1972) the car was re-imported to the UK.

 This was imported into Ireland back in the mid 1970s, the reg does not match a 1961 built car. I'd suggest this is UK built: Darren O'Rourke
